Community Health Promoters Commodity Management

Target Audience: Community Health Promoters (CHPs), Community Health Volunteers (CHVs), and frontline health workers. Course Goal: To equip CHPs with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for the effective and efficient management of health commodities at the community level, ensuring the consistent and safe availability of essential supplies. Learning Outcomes: Upon completion, participants will be able to: • Identify and categorize essential community health commodities. • Correctly use, maintain, and secure the contents of a CHP kit. • Apply stock management principles, including record-keeping, FIFO, and monitoring. • Manage expiries, shortages, and the resupply process effectively. • Understand their role in the broader health supply chain.
